Nexus April – STAND – We’re still working on our yearly theme of LETTERS and will be digging into 1 Peter. Encourage your student to read it and they’ll be right with us on Sunday and Wednesday nights! Read and discuss it together!

NO NEXUS SENIOR HIGH ON SUNDAY, APRIL 25 – Nexus Staff Retreat
AIDS Caregiver Kits – This will be our fourth year making supply kits for caregivers of AIDS patients around the world. We pack containers with supplies that are too expensive and not readily available for patients on location. Items likes Vaseline, flashlights, wash cloths and antifungal creams are sent to care for those suffering from the disease. We even include personal notes of encouragement! Students should sign up at Nexus with $28 to participate and change a life. Drop off at Nexus on April 17 from 9:00am-12:00pm to assemble the kits! Students can purchase a kit even if they can’t make the assembly day. They can also go in with friends and split the cost if they’d like!
Open Mic Night – Students are encouraged to share their music, art or poetry at Nexus on Friday, April 30 from 6-9pm. All students welcome. Come and watch. Free Admission, no bands, doors open at 6, performances from 6:30-9. Kids can sign up at Nexus. Content must not contain cursing, sexual themes or promotion of drugs and alcohol. All content should be reflective and respectful.
